One Thing – Running

This wasn’t intentional but I woke up later than I was supposed to. I told myself that if I got up now I would have enough time to catch my bus. In order to do so I had to run to the bus stop.

I got ready in a hurry but good thing that I packed my bag so I grabbed my shirt (that I mentally planned to wear), got changed and ran (literally) out of the door and continued running to the stop.

Fortunately I got there a minute before the bus was to depart but it didn’t matter since the bus was four minutes late.


Chicken Lo Mein

I love Asian food!! My mama and I had some for dinner. It was great. Instead of ordering chicken chop suey we ordered chicken lo mein. The difference is the noodles. It’s difficult to say which I like more… They are both delicious! 🙂

Only Positive Vibes

Earlier I dealt with positive and negative situations. I was challenged to embraced the positive and to not let the negative overshadow the positive.

Today, I will let the positive outweigh the negative and to not let it bring me down. When I focus on the positive I embrace more room for positive things to happen.

Butternut Pumpkin Soup

My boyfriend and I will be getting back into pumpkin everything! It’s the first weekend of Autumn and we didn’t do anything pumpkin-y. But I’m going to decorate his room (well our room) Thanksgiving and pumpkin themed for the holiday season. Although everything will be done in a nice organized fashion, of course.

I thoroughly enjoy pumpkin everything. I can’t wait to show him my pumpkin recipe book!! 🙂 I can’t wait to make this!! I will keep you posted.


My boyfriend and I hung out with his friend when I finish work. We had lunch together. It was nice although I am slow eater so I felt bad for his friend for waiting for me. I didn’t feel as bad for my boyfriend because I’m sure he’s used to it now.

Then when I went to my boyfriend’s house he surprised me with yellow calla lilies. Which two fun facts despite being called a lily they aren’t actually lilies and the word calla comes from the Greek term for beautiful.

Today I will show my appreciation for someone else’s efforts.

One Thing – Morning and Evening Stretch

I always used to stretch in the morning but then I was either too tired or always on the go and couldn’t find time to stretch. But today I made sure to stretch before I ate my breakfast.

I’m quite proud of myself. As soon as I finish reorganizing my closet I will be sure to make my yoga mat more accessible. Colder weather will be on its way soon so I wouldn’t be able to do much exercise outdoors for awhile.I’m trying to make myself more flexible for different yoga poses which is something I will be doing during the winter months.

Focus on the Now

This is something I don’t do, I either think about the past or I have this count down to something that I am excited about. I need to spend more time in the Now for that it is the only thing I have.

Bow tie Noodles With Spicy Sausage and Bell Peppers

I usually make pasta and peppers with honey garlic sausages but mama bought mild sausages they were still good. I enjoyed it.

I used bow tie noodles, yellow, orange and red bell peppers and herbs and garlic pasta sauce. I also served it with garlic bread. It was superb. We also added Parmesan cheese.

I had to make this for mama because when we were grocery shopping she thought that I was making this for her and I but I was making it for my boyfriend and I. His older brother and their mama joined us since they helped out. I always wanted to have a nice gathering with his family. I enjoyed it a lot.

Keep Moving

I managed to get a lot done in a day. I made myself breakfast, lunch and dinner, did a load of laundry, washed dishes, declutter my clothes in my closet. I was quiet proud of my accomplishments.

Today, I will try my best to accomplish all that I want to do and I will not give up until all is done.
