Let’s start this week off, with another amazing song. I actually forgot about this song, until it randomly got stuck in my head somehow. I remember when I used to be obsessed with this song. I still love it despite it being released 12 years ago.
To me, this song is about being you, and reminding yourself, no one can bring you down. It also talks about how you shouldn’t listen to anyone who talks down to you. It’s also about being able to look at yourself in the mirror and love yourself for who you are. It is such an empowering song, and I think everyone should listen to this song.

Deborah Cox is a Canadian singer and song writer. She has won three Juno awards (acknowledging Canadian singers and bands). Before she became a solo artist, she was a backup singer for Celine Dion. In this video she was pregnant with her third child, Kaila Michelle with her husband, who is also her manager.
