Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
This week’s theme is cover freebie (choose your own topic, centred on books cover or cover art). So, with that in mind, I am going to talk about my books with blue covers. I was going to pick yellow, but I saw that in a few weeks it will be showcasing Autumn coloured covers. I decided to save those colours for that week. I then realized that I have a lot of blue book covers.
So here we go… No particular order.
10. You Can Heal Your Life

I haven’t read this book, but I love anything Louis Hay. This book is about finding and changing your life. It’s about learning to believe in yourself.
9. The Now Effect

Another book I haven’t gotten a chance to read, but this is about mindfulness, and being present.
8. You Are A Badass Every Day

This is on my To Be Read List. I have read her first two books, and they were amazing books. This book just seems to remind us that we are powerful, and unstoppable.
7. Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It

These are journal entries about how reading Eat Pray Love has inspired people to make changes in their lives. I have started reading this book, but I will definitely pick it up again, because it was quite insightful.
6. Make Your Bed

I have always been one to make my bed every morning. In this book McRaven mentions how by starting your day with completing a simple task, it allows you to keep on completing the next task, followed by another task. I really enjoyed this book.
5. Everything is F*cked: A Book

This book is on my To Be Read List. And I am so excited to read it!
4. 101 Life Lessons Without the Bullsh*t

I loved reading this book. It was so simple, yet so inspiring. I highly recommend reading this book.
3. Make Miracles in Forty Days

I love reading Melody Beattie books. She is someone who has been through many struggles in her life, and was able to inspire many people, including me.
2. The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

I received this book as a Christmas present. I really enjoyed reading this book, because it was quite educational and gave me insight into the business world.
- Freedom Seeker

This is another book on my To Be Read List. I used to be a huge worrier, but now I’m slowly learning to not worry as much. So this book looks like it would be helpful to continue to worry less.
A nice collection.
