Top Ten Tuesdays #6

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The rules are simple:Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.

This week’s topic is Book Covers with Autumn vibes and or colours.

My boyfriend contributed by letting me borrow his books for the photo op (Dracula, Terror and Adulthood is a Myth). And he also took these photos, as well.

10. 108 Pearls To Awaken Your Healing Potential

I have started reading this book, and it has been really insightful. I would highly recommend this book. My boyfriend had even bought me a Mala (a bracelet that consists of 108 pearls).

9. Many Waters

I haven’t read this book yet, my boyfriend and I have only started reading the second book, not too long ago.

8. 101 Simple Truths For a Better Life

This is one of my favourite books. I loved how simple and profound this book is. It really inspired me to make better choices in my life. It’s about the lessons he has learned from his hardships.

7. Harry Potter And the Cursed Child

This is an amazing book. I really enjoyed it. Although I am sad because my boyfriend and I were supposed to see the play, but it got postponed to an undetermined date, because of the whole covid-19 pandemic. I was going to wait to see the play first, then read it, but I couldn’t wait that long.

6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much. I love all of the Harry Potter books.

5. Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix

This book was so amazing, but incredibly sad, I still cry about it to this day.

4. The Tales of Beedle the Bard

In Hogwarts this book is like the equivalent of our Fairy Tale fables and stories. It was an interesting read of five short stories. My favourite short story is the The Tale of Three Brothers.

3. Dracula

I have read this story back in high school. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoys watching these movies.

2. Adulthood is a Myth

This story contains funny sketches about Sarah’s life. My boyfriend and I really enjoy these comics. She started out on a Facebook page called Sarah’s Scribbles. And then she has published books about her comics.

  1. Terror

I haven’t heard of this book until my boyfriend bought it, it looks interesting and spooky. Perfect for spooky season.
