Finally Fall Book Tag

Hey, I got tagged for another book tag! Thank you to https://myartenthusiastics.wordpress.com/ for tagging me. I really appreciate you thinking of me. Sorry for the delay. This blog is amazing, you should check it out when you get the chance, you won’t regret it.

1. In fall, the air is crisp and clear: Name a book with a vivid setting.
   I find anything Stephen King has written has a vivid setting. I really like that about his books, is that he would go in depth explaining the setting. But because I am only allowed to name one book, I am going to pick the one I am reading which is 11/22/63. It’s an amazing book. It’s about how a diner owner asks one of his customers to travel back in time through a time travelling machine in the basement of his diner. He wants this customer to go back in time to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
2. Nature is beautiful…, but also dying. Name a book that is beautifully written, but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief.
   I haven’t read a book about someone dying or having to go through the process of grieving a loved one in awhile. But one that came in mind was A Walk to Remember. I remember watching the movie in high school. And that had inspired to read Nicholas Sparks books and watch his movies.
3. Fall is back to school season: Share a non-fiction book that taught you something new.
   The Power of Now taught me to be more present and focus more on the Now instead of wasting time worry about the future, because this moment is all that we have. I have learned to meditate and help calm my mind.
4. In order to keep warm, it’s good to spend some time with the people we love: Name a fictional family/friend-group that you’d like to be part of.
   I would love to be part of Harry Potter’s clique and I would love to live at the Weasley’s household. His mom, Molly seems really nice.
5. The coloured leaves are piling up on the grounds: Show us a pile of fall coloured book covers.

6. Fall is the perfect time for some storytelling by the fireside: Share a book wherein someone is telling a story.
Go Ask Alice is a story told through an anonymous journal entries about how a teenaged girl became addicted to various drugs by attending this party.

7. The nights are getting darker: Share a dark, creepy read.
The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware. That book gave me goosepimples! It was so dark and creepy.

8. The days are getting colder: Name a short, heartwarming book that could warm up somebody’s cold and rainy day.
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I just really enjoyed the movie, and I loved reading that book.

9. Fall returns every year: Name an old favourite that you’d like to return to soon.
I enjoy reading Harry Potter series. Although I just finished reading it in the summer, so I plan on reading some of my other books before I reread them again. I have a lot of books I would like to read.

10. Fall is the perfect season for cozy reading nights: Share your favourite cozy reading “accessories”.

• One of my Harry Potter or Giraffe bookmarks
• Cozy socks, a warm blanket or duvet and perhaps a sweater
• A nice candle
• A latte of some kind.
