The Cuckoo’s Calling has been on my shelf (literally) for years since it first came out I’ve tried reading it simply because it’s written by JK Rowling but it’s just not my cup of tea. A bit sad about that but oh well

Oh, yeah, I thought I was going to like it more, but I still thought it was a good book.

I couldn’t even get past the first page lol Maybe I was expecting harry potter too much lol

It’s definitely different from Harry Potter, which is why I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews on it. But the way I look at it. If you are ever bored of a book, you shouldn’t push yourself to finish it. There’s so many great books out there. May as read what you like. 🙂
