Today’s challenge, is going through your books to see if you can donate any to any loved ones, charities, libraries.
I have a lot of books that I have twice, and my sister does, too. Which is how I got to keep Go Ask Alice, because she bought another copy, forgetting about having a copy of it. So I am able to give books away for Christmas, which is pretty cool.
Great idea!

Thank you so much! I just feel like now more than ever, this holiday season needs to be more about celebrating and loving our family (from afar), without having to worry about making Christmas so commercialized.

Yes, exactly… and the fact that not everyone has the same spending capacity like that of last year… this truly would generate gifts that we didnt know existed..

Yes, and especially now, we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, we don’t need this added stress, as well. Most places have closed their shopping malls, so some will need to resort to online shopping which will cause delays. It just doesn’t seem to be the best time. ❤

White Rabbit (lyrics Go ask Alice) is a really good song.

Awesome idea, I’ve been thinking of doing that, but been hesitating that I might want to read them once more!

Thank you! I have actually heard of people find that they have read more books when they have let them go.
If you ever feel that desire, you can always go to your library to find it again.
Or you just donate something that you know you will never read.
Or you can do a book swap with family and friends, that you can still have access to these books. You can pass each other books every month, or three months, or whenever. That way someone else has the opportunity to read this book, and you can still keep it.

That’s a very good idea to swab books. I’m a fast reader, myself, and that would really be a great idea. Thanks for the inspiration.

No problem! I’m glad I can help. And that would also help save you money, because you can just keep swapping with your family and friends, instead of having to go out and buy those books. And it helps eliminate the clutter, as well.
