Write Down Your Goals

Every Friday, I write ways we can try to boost our moods. These are fairly simple things to do like in the previous posts I suggest making a bed. It’s part of my Feel Good Fridays post. I love writing these posts as well.

I know that maybe people may have written resolutions for the year. Some of us may or may not have have given up on these resolutions already. Which it is okay if you have, there’s still time to spring back into action. But what if we try a different approach? What if we make a list of things that we want to do, or can achieve by the end of the year. We can make them as hard or as easy as we like, how much fun, or personal growth we would like to have for the year. You can write about anything your heart desires. We can write about 21 things we wish to accomplish this year.

This idea crossed my mind, but I finally put the idea to action when I see that Gretchen Rubin did this idea, too. Her and I have great ideas. Her idea for last year was 20 minutes of walking.

Perhaps one of them is reading a certain number of books, or pages. Or you can talk about writing a novel, or at least the first draft, or even just write about an idea. Or maybe you want to save up a certain amount of money. Or it could be to start a family, or move out. There are so many things that you can work towards. Never settle for less. And never doubt how truly great you are.

You don’t have to have all 21 ideas right now, but even if you spend some time thinking about what you would like to accomplish this year, than that would be great, too. There are still 350 days left of the year to accomplish whatever you like to accomplish.
