Hey bookworms! This is the post where we talk about books, and what we are reading by answering the following questions…
- What have I finished reading?
- What am I currently reading?
- What will I read next?
- What have I finished reading?
Unfortunately with my Grandpa being in the hospital and him passing away, I entered a reading slump. I had a hard focusing on reading any books, so I didn’t finish reading anything.
2. What am I currently reading?

The beginning of the book is a little bit sad, it reminded me of my Grandpa. He was the youngest of six siblings, so he saw all of his siblings leave their family home when he was young. And in the book, Kya she sees her siblings leave their house, too. And it took me awhile to read it, since I kept on thinking about my Grandpa.
3. What will I read next?

So sorry for your loss. I hope you found the healing you need 🤗 I heard of “Where the Crawdads sing” but so far haven’t read it. Last year I discovered audiobooks for when I find reading hard (I had chemotherapy which made reading hard) and am now fully into them. I currently listen to “The Winged Thief” by Kate Mascarenhas via Libby. That’s an app where you can borrow audio books from your library for free. You have two weeks to listen to them but can renew too. I absolutely love it 😊

Thank you so much for your kind words.
Where the Crawdads Sing was a beautiful book, I loved it. They’re making a movie of it, they just started filming it. I cannot wait.
I am so sorry to hear about your cancer, but I hope you are feeling better. And yeah, I haven’t really tried listening to books, but I’m sure it is a nice experience. I really want to try that one day.
Your book sounds wonderful. I’m going to look into it. Thank you. 🙂
