I feel more than happy to end Tea Tuesdays, mostly because I have showcased all of my mugs, and my favourite teas. I feel content writing about my last post about my Grandpa’s favourite tea. It was a nice tribute, and happy ending for me. My Grandpa was the one who introduced to me, and made me love it so much. So I am happy that my last post was about him.

Orange Pekoe Tea
Many of you may not know this, but growing up my Grandpa used to make everyone Orange Pekoe tea for all that would visit him. It was always delicious. In fact that was what has made me love tea.
I brought out my spring and summer mugs. I finally put away my winter and Christmas mugs.
I make my Orange Pekoe tea the way my Grandpa would make it for us.
My boyfriend bought me this mug a few years ago.

Caramel Shortbread Latte
This is one of my favourite Christmas lattes. I like to save some so I can have throughout the year. It’s so creamy and rich. I love it so much. I have so many mugs, that I have to rotate them throughout the seasons, and soon it’s almost time to put away my Christmas and Winter mugs and bring out my spring and summer mugs! I thought I would enjoy it in my cozy sweater mug.
This is an herbal tea. I enjoy it so much, I wish I could order it all year round.

Green Tea
I am starting to drink green tea once a day now. I have started this many times, before but this time, I am taking it very seriously. There are many great benefits to drinking tea. Although it is best to have green tea plain (no milk, or sugar added), to truly reap in the benefits. Some of the benefits include a decrease risk of having strokes, and various cancers because of all of the antioxidants in the tea. It can help improve brain function, and even help slow down the brain from aging.
Although a word of caution, green tea does have a lot of caffeine, so if consuming caffeine keeps you from falling asleep, be sure to have it in the morning, or early afternoon. I normally have a cup of green tea when I wake up and after my yoga.
I have started noticing that my brain is more focused on reading, and blogging. I have only started drinking green tea not too long ago.

Ceremonial Matcha
Every Tuesday, I like to dedicate a post to Tea Tuesdays. I love tea, so I enjoy writing and sharing photos with everyone about my tea obsession.
Today, my boyfriend and I had Ceremonial Matcha, which was one of our Christmas presents from last year. It was an interesting matcha. This one is more of a natural matcha, and as of lately, we have been enjoying flavoured matcha, so it ta\sted a bit bitter for my liking. I think I am going to have the rest, by mixing it in my flavoured matcha.
My boyfriend and I had this a hot latte, with our matching mugs. Well, same design, but different colour mugs. Mine is the pink, and his is green. These are our matcha mugs.
Matcha is super healthy for you, since it comes from a whole green leaf, so you get more antioxidants from the leaves. It is finely grinded green leaves that is made up of a powder from Japan.

Hazelnut Chocolate Tea Latte
When I was at my sister’s house, I got to try this new tea, that I have been wanting to try for a few weeks now. I was so happy to see that they bought some.
It is a pur’eh tea, so it is an energizing tea. Which is helpful when I babysit my niece. Mostly because my sister and her boyfriend work early, which means I have to be at their house early.
I tried a cup at my sister’s house, and grabbed a tea bag for later.

This tea was creamy, and decadent. It tasted exactly like the chocolate hazelnut spread. I can eat that by the spoon full. I will definitely be buying more this soon.
London Fog
While it is not certain as to who the actual creator is, it was actually invented in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is said that it was created at Buckwheat Cafe, which is now closed. A regular customer, named Mary Loira, who became pregnant and was no longer able to have caffeine. Mind you this dates back to 1994, so I assume, at the time, they figured the coffee caffeine was bad for pregnant women. But it’s a bit confusing, since Earl Grey has caffeine in it. But I guess that’s the beauty of modern medicine, it’s always evolving. She changed her usual coffee drink to an Earl Grey tea, with steamed milk, and a bit of vanilla.
Although there are many other places who say that they were the first ones to invent this drink, but this is the most agreed upon creation of the London Fog. In the early 2000s many coffee shops such as Second Cup, and Starbucks added this drink to their menus. There are many variations of this drink depending on where you order this. In Dublin, they call it a Dublin Fog, and instead of using an Earl Grey tea bag, they substitute it for an Irish English Breakfast tea. In Mexico, they substitute the vanilla, for agave. In Halifax, they use dashes of Nova Scotian maple syrup instead of the vanilla.
I used the classic recipe for it. I bought my Earl Grey tea bags with vanilla infused in the tea bags. I let it brew for 5 minutes. Then I froth my milk in my milk frother. Once the tea is done steeping, I remove the tea bag, and pour the frothed milk on top.

This is my mug of the day. It was a Christmas present many years ago from my aunt and uncle. It’s one of my favourite Winter mugs. I also like it because my favourite hockey team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. I find it adorable because the penguin is on skates. Penguins are my second favourite animal, my absolute favourite animal is giraffes.
Coffee Tea With Whipped Cream
Here is another edition of Tea Tuesdays. The other day, I made myself a coffee tea latte, topped with whipped cream. It was so good. I loved the creaminess to it.
Coffee tea is a pu’erh tea, so it is a really good energy booster. It’s perfect for when you would like a coffee, but tea is life.

This is a picture of my sister’s mug, she should received it as a Christmas present, a few years ago.
Hot Chocolate With Steamed Milk
I will be posting an actual tea tomorrow. A lot of the tea I have right now, are iced teas, and I’m a bit too cold for that right now.
Although I made this a bit differently I used a hazelnut flavoured coffee creamer mixed with milk. It was delicious! I remember coming home from school, and my mom would make me hot chocolate, and she would add her hazelnut coffee creamer to it, to make it creamy. It would always be delicious.

This is my absolute favourite winter mug ever!
Hot Chocolate
So, I am mixing things up today. I felt like writing about hot chocolate today, instead of tea. I love drinking hot chocolate, as well. I am currently drinking Rolo flavoured hot chocolate. I’m not sure if Rolo is made in every country, but it is chocolate bar, that has caramel in the middle. It’s so delicious. My milk frother is also a hot chocolate maker, as well so instead of making my hot chocolate with hot water, I can make it with steamed milk. It makes the hot chocolate that much more decadent. I love it. Of course, I used my favourite mug.
