Day 164 of 192

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day.

The item I am giving away is an orchid plant holder. A few years ago, my boyfriend had bought me an orchid, unfortunately the plant died a few months after he gave it to me. It was a really pretty shade of light pink, with dark pink.

My Grandma likes to plant, and garden, so I’m going to see if she could repurpose this jar.

Peach Ginger and Dandelion Tea

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s another edition of Tea Tuesday! Today’s tea is Peach Ginger with Dandelion. It is infused with vitamin B6, which helps boosts your metabolism. It has other benefits such as prevents cancer, helps unclog arteries, helps with eye diseases, and promotes brain health.

This tea is a herbal tea, with no caffeine. It is super healthy, too. What I like is that you can taste more of the peach, and the ginger isn’t too powerful.

Here is my mug, well actually it’s a tea cup, for the day. What I love about this tea cup, is that it is yellow, which is my favourite colour. I love the flowers, and how elegant it is. It reminds me of a tea cup from Alice In Wonderland, or a tea cup from Great Grandma.

Your Garden

What you spend thinking and fantasizing about eventually becomes your destiny. But until it becomes your destiny, your thoughts turn into a garden. This powerful garden that becomes you. You can either have a garden of lush flowers, or a bunch of neglected weeds. When you spend time belittling yourself, or putting yourself down, instead of focusing on what makes you awesome, your garden will be a jungle of weeds. These weeds will destroy the beautiful flowers that have been sprouting.

It takes the same amount of energy and thought process to talk bad and belittle yourself, as it would to talk greatness about yourself. So why waste that energy hurting yourself, when you can use that energy to think wonderfully about yourself.

You are stronger than your worst thoughts. There is no reason to succumb to your inner dialogue. You have the power to overcome these thoughts and be truly grateful with who you are. Go forth and build your most beautiful garden.

Breakthrough

I randomly came across this quote, and it reminded that no matter how terrible seems right now, I realize that I’m not always going to suffer and face bad days. It just means that all of this suffering is preparing me for my transformation. Growing through the concrete is hard work and requires a lot of strength. But once you get to the other side, you’ll realize that it was all for the best and that things worked out for you, far better than you had realized they would have gone.

Let’s use this quote as inspiration and acknowledgement that hardships are preparing us for better days and experiences. Never be afraid of a breakthrough.Breakthroughs add character, and helps you become the person you are destined to become. It reminds me to always be fierce and never back down to something that is going to strengthen me.

Spring Rain

I have thought of a new idea for my blog, I will publish either a poem or something I am currently writing. I would love to write a novel, or even a short story. I will be able to post that on Wednesdays. Stay tuned.

The air is warm.
The wind is cool.
The sun is out shining down
until the clouds start rolling in.
Drip drip
The rain slowly falls.
Until it suddenly begins to pour.
It’s okay though.
Everything happens at its moment.
Nothing comes to you at a moment later
then you need things to happen.
The clouds are just like us.
When we have been too strong,
for too long,
we begin to become overwhelmed with things.
Learn to let go.
We feel so much better when we let things go.
May we reap what we sow.
We can use our energy to grow flowers
or we can use excuses and grow weeds.
Our words also determine what we grow.
We can use our words to grow into the person we want to be or
we can use them to belittle ourselves.
May the spring rain fall on us to help us
nourish and grow strong and tall.
Use the rain to wash away all of the bad things,
like the things that keep us from growing.
Embrace yourself for all that you are.
Including your doubts.
Say them out loud.
And use the rain to wash them away.
Turn yourself into the sun.
And let yourself grow.
And never look back.

Make Your Life An Adventure

“Your life’s journey is no longer an adventure, just an obsessive need to arrive, to attain, to “make it.” You no longer see or smell the flowers by the wayside either, nor are you aware of the beauty and the miracle of life that unfolds all around you when you are present in the Now.”

-Eckhart Tolle

I have been living in the past, I won’t lie. I’ve been dwelling if I made the right choices career wise whether or not I am doing the right thing. Then I’ve been worrying about my future. Right now I need to focus on what I have and make the best of it. I should let go and believe that I am on the right track and that whatever happens is meant to happen.

Follow Your Heart

I am a big believer of quotes.I find that they are always helpful; I always read one that affects my life.

One day I was shopping I came across this shirt that read; “Rule Number One: Follow Your Heart Every Day And Night.” It was the perfect shirt for me, it has lace and decorated with flowers so I can wear my daisy headband to match it.

This quote is useful for everyone.

Today, I will let my heart guide me for it knows best. I will not stress about life’s what ifs moments. I will put my trust in my heart, knowing that it will never let me down.
