Day 78

This is from March the 19th.

I enjoy looking back throughout my day and realizing the lessons I have learned, or reflecting on what I have already learned throughout my life.

Something that I have learned is to never take anything for granted, instead you should be grateful for everything. Even when things aren’t working out for you the way you had hoped. You can take those hardships and you can learn a lot of things that you might have missed if you weren’t held a not so great hand of things. In some cases, failure and hardships can teach you more things than success ever will.

You should try your best to make every moment count for something. Never take things for granted, appreciate everything you have in life, even the bad. Go out there and make the most of everything your life has to offer. Keep on going strong, and don’t let any roadblocks stop you from reaching all of your goals.

Today, I will do my best to make every day, and every moment count. I will learn to take the good with the bad. I will try my best to not give up. I must keep on working towards my goals, and everything that life has offer.

Thankful Thursdays #37 – March 11th, 2021

This was an emotional week for me. It basically broke me. But I was able to see the silver lining in it. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that whatever everyone may be going through that they can see the silver lining, too.

Feel free to write what you are thankful for in a journal, or some electronic document. Or you can talk about it among your trusted circle, or just spend some time reflecting it upon yourself.

Here is my list…

  1. I am very thankful that I got to “see” (I use quotation marks, because it wasn’t in person, like we normally do) him in the hospital.
  2. I am happy that my sister invited me over so I was able to see him.
  3. As much as it hurts, my Grandpa being in the hospital brought our family closer together.
  4. I am grateful that I have a supportive boyfriend to help me go through this difficult time.
  5. I appreciate my followers for being so patient and supportive during these days.

Thank you for all of your kind words. It means the world to me.

Blessings

Every week, I like to post about something inspirational and motivational. I hope this helps people achieve their goals.

I like to think that if we spend more time focusing and talking about our blessings, instead of our problems, then the universe will continue to bless us with more blessings, and things to be grateful for. If you continue to talk about what is wrong in your life, then the universe is just going to continue to bring you more hardships. Whatever you send out into the universe is going to come back to you, multiplied. Whatever you spend your most time talking about is going to come back to you, so you may as well talk about your blessings.

Thankful Thursdays #34 – February 18th, 2021

It is important that we spend time reflecting what we are thankful for. It’s important that we express our gratitude. Whatever we send into the universe, comes back to us multiplied. So the more we express our gratitude into universe, the more it comes back to us.

I have a lot to be thankful for this week, and I hope everyone does, too.

Here is my list…

  1. My boyfriend had a snow day, so he didn’t get to go to work that day, instead we just got to hang out together. Which is always fun!
  2. We also watched Tarzan, I haven’t seen that movie in awhile. I really enjoyed that movie.
  3. I am thankful that I got to spend the day watching my favourite show. I love watching Grey’s Anatomy. I’m trying to get myself for its return next month.
  4. I am grateful for spending more time cooking, I love cooking. Yesterday, I even got to watch my show while I cook.
  5. I am thankful that things are getting better with my boyfriend and myself. We have a lot of disagreements lately, but I am glad that things are better now.

What You Don’t Want Becomes What You Need

Hey, everyone! Let’s start our week off with positive vibes and thoughts.

Perhaps you have thought, “Why life has been throwing curveballs at you?”, and you don’t know why at first. The universe isn’t punishing you. It is giving you new perspective and sometimes even a new beginning. It may be hard to see it now, but it may be everything you need.

You can’t see a rainbow, until after you go through a storm. The universe has a crazy plan for all of us. There may be times where we don’t see that things will work out for us, but things actually work out better than we can ever imagine. What we may not realize was the crazy detour the universe gave us, was just what we needed.

Whenever you are going through something, just trust the universe knows what is best. It might just take some time to get use to the changes, but things will get better. You’ll soon realize why you needed to go through these transformations. When these events unfold, you’ll be truly grateful for these events.

Thankful Thursdays #21

I feel that this has been a wonderful week, and I am thankful for the events that have happened.

I hope you spend some time, thinking and expressing gratitude for the things that has happened this week.

  1. I have had time to have readathons throughout the week. That is where I have been able to finish some of my books.
  2. I spent the majority of Monday cleaning and tidying my room. Cleaning always helps me feel better, and more relaxed.
  3. Yesterday my boyfriend and I watched a romantic movie together. We watched The Longest Ride, again. I was inspired by writing about it in my blog on Tuesday. It’s such a great movie. It’s one of my favourite Nicholas Sparks movie and book.
  4. I found my favourite chocolate bar in my snack box, I thought I had ate it a few weeks ago. I found it at the perfect time since that was our mini snack for the movie.
  5. Got my inspiration to finish what appears to be a neglected story right now. I felt uninspired to write it. It’s called Unimaginable Treasure. It’s about the importance and benefits of decluttering. So I apologize for those that have been patiently waiting for chapter three. In the meantime, you can catch up, or read it for the first time, here http://threeyellowdaisies.ca/category/unimaginable-treasure/ I appreciate any feedback, if you have any. 🙂

Glad You Came – The Wanted

Tom Parker of the band, The Wanted, has disclosed that he has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. I am absolutely devastated for him and his family. I love The Wanted. For those who may not know, but they are a British-Irish boy band.

I feel really sad for Tom Parker and his family since he is only 32 years old. His wife is pregnant with their second child.

I remember that my best friend and I used to listen to The Wanted and have a mini dance party listening to them. It was a lot of fun. But to summarize things, life got complicated and we ended up going in different directions without one another. We do on the occasion still keep in touch. Although not as much as we used to, and that’s okay. I still feel very blessed to be friends with this amazing person. We live in different cities, and things are different now, but I hope that our paths can cross again, soon. May this song help everyone realize that life is too short, to be anything but happy. I hope this song encourages us to take chances, like go to talk to that friend you have been meaning to message, quit that job, and try something new. Life is too short to be ordinary, go out there, and be extraordinary!

I will always love this song. I feel for Tom Parker and his family. I’ll keep him my thoughts and hope that he is strong enough to accomplish all that he wishes to. This song will remind me to not take life so seriously, but to enjoy everything and everyone. Never take anything or anyone for granted, because you never know when you will see someone again. All we ever have is this present moment. Another thing that this song teaches me is that everyone can enter your life, and can only stay there for a season. And when they leave, your universe is never the same again. Learn to enjoy the little things in life.

“The sun goes down
The stars come out
And all that counts
Is here and now
My universe will never be the same
I’m glad you came”

-The Wanted, I’m Glad You Came

Hope

I figured this was a great quote for Thanksgiving Monday. I really hope that all of our gratitude that we have had for today and over the weekend, will roll over into the upcoming week. I am big believer of expressing gratitude.

I really like this quote because it provides us with a lot of insight of how you should take things easily, and try your best to reduce your stresses.
