Happy Thanksgiving!

Since I live in Canada, it is my Thanksgiving weekend! Not many things happened this weekend. My boyfriend and I stayed in and had our own dinner. We made a roast last weekend, so this weekend we had Thai take out. It was a fun time. We did the same thing last year, so it’s starting to turn into our new thing. This time since we weren’t busy getting ready, we got to watch a lot of football.

Like any other day, we express our gratitude and think about what we are thankful for, but this weekend we are extra thankful. Thanksgiving is my favourite holiday. Mostly because you get to express your gratitude, spend time with family and friends over delicious food. There’s no pressure of having to buy things for other people, like Christmas, or Easter, or any other holiday. The weather is perfect for sweater weather. I love wearing my cozy sweater. 🙂

It was nice to just relax and not have to do much of anything this weekend like we typically would have.

I hope everyone had a joyous weekend.

Soak Up the Sun

I’m not sure what the weather is like where everyone lives, but I hope that you are enjoying the tail end of whichever season you are currently in, waiting for the transition to the next season.

My wish is that you truly embrace all that it has to offer, since it won’t be returning for another eight months or so.

Right now, my country is in the transition to Autumn, which I love, but I do feel a bit sad that summer is ending. I love that Autumn is a reminder that it’s okay to let things go, as the tree branches become bare from the loss of their leaves. I do miss the sun, since it isn’t out as much as it was during the summer. Although, it is perfect for watching scary movies.

I will always look ahead with positive vibes and thoughts that this Autumn will be the best one, yet!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead. It’s the beginning of something great, a clean slate to start all over, to start new projects. Don’t take these moments for granted. And always go after what you want to accomplish!

Day Thirteen

We should appreciate the days that we don’t have any plans. Although, I know during a time like this, it may be difficult to be grateful, but we are able to slow things down and just be in the moment.

It is such a relaxing thought of being present and not have to worry about having plans. It is a bit new to me, because I do like to plan things. This is a new scenery to me.

This is one of the positive changes Covid-19 has brought upon me, and with that, I am grateful.

Tonight, I’m enjoying my evening with my boyfriend, watching a movie. And there us no place I would want to be.

Let’s utilize this time, to be present, to really be mindful. Let’s learn to go with the flow.
