Hot Chocolate With Steamed Milk

I will be posting an actual tea tomorrow. A lot of the tea I have right now, are iced teas, and I’m a bit too cold for that right now.

Although I made this a bit differently I used a hazelnut flavoured coffee creamer mixed with milk. It was delicious! I remember coming home from school, and my mom would make me hot chocolate, and she would add her hazelnut coffee creamer to it, to make it creamy. It would always be delicious.

This is my absolute favourite winter mug ever!

Hot Chocolate

So, I am mixing things up today. I felt like writing about hot chocolate today, instead of tea. I love drinking hot chocolate, as well. I am currently drinking Rolo flavoured hot chocolate. I’m not sure if Rolo is made in every country, but it is chocolate bar, that has caramel in the middle. It’s so delicious. My milk frother is also a hot chocolate maker, as well so instead of making my hot chocolate with hot water, I can make it with steamed milk. It makes the hot chocolate that much more decadent. I love it. Of course, I used my favourite mug.

Advent Calendar of Kindness 2020 Day 23

December just flew on by!

Perhaps in your community, you can organize a community library box, and a food box. That way people can drop off books and exchange food and books. Whenever you finish a book, and you are done having it you can just place it in the community library box for someone to enjoy. People in our communities might be in need of food, so leaving out pasta, bread, cans of soup, some hot chocolate mix might go a long way in helping someone.

Here are some examples of each. Mind you it doesn’t have to be this fancy, it can be whatever you like. I think it’s a perfect way to get the community involved.

The Absolute Festive Tea Latte

Yesterday I made the best festive drink ever for Tea Tuesdays. I finally get to showcase my other Christmas mugs.

It’s basically a Candy Cane Hot Chocolate with Eggnog as a tea latte!

First I steeped my Candy Crush tea. I was running low on my loose tea leaves. I have some bagged tea, but I didn’t want to waste them. So I decided to add some hot chocolate to it, since there wasn’t a lot of tea.

I added some hot chocolate powder to my milk frother, that has eggnog in it.

The after! It was so delicious. I will definitely be making this again! It was creamy, very rich. Although I tasted a lot of the hot chocolate than I did candy cane, but that’s okay. It was amazing!

Here is a closer look at my mug, well, I should say my boyfriend’s (mug). I got it for him for Christmas last year.

Hot Chocolate Latte

In this Tea Tuesday edition on a Wednesday. Yesterday was a beautiful day, so I ended up spending the day outside reading a good book.

I made myself a hot chocolate latte in my cozy sweater mug. Over the weekend, I officially took out my Christmas/winter mugs and teas. I keep them in my cupboard, but now they are on display, which is always exciting.

It is extra creamy especially as a latte. It also uses real cocoa beans, so it is really decadent. It makes for the perfect treat.

Here is my special cozy sweater mug, that is my favourite winter mug. I bought it last year, as a Christmas present for myself.

Working Together

Today I was fortunate enough to hang out with my former coworker. Then our best friend, Butterfly showed up and we hung out with him for a bit. That was a lot of fun.

The purpose of our hangout was for me to help my former coworker with his homework. He was grateful that I agreed to help him. He was nice to buy me my chocolate chip muffin, a pumpkin spiced latte and then a hot chocolate. It was delicious. I am so happy that he bought me these delicious snack and beverage.

It was a bit stressful but we have to do one thing at a time and not stress about it too much. Just breathe…

Today, I will not stress bring me down and I will take it one thing at a time.
