Laughter

The only part of leaving my boyfriend’s house that makes me happy is that I place notes around his room. I leave after him so he never knows where I leave them until he finds it.

I used to leave them on his pillow but his brother told me that he read one of my notes so I decided to scatter them in his room with page numbers in the top right corner.

This note was nine pages long (they’re like the size of a Post-It Note so it isn’t that lengthy). It’s just a coincidence that today’s note has been the longest note I have written excluding my letter.

I don’t know why I laugh so much when this happens. I find it really funny and cute.

Today, I will add humour throughout my day. Although it must be humour that doesn’t harm anyone.

Letting Go

Last week I was sick so I forgot that I didn’t post anything for Buddy Wakefield Wednesday. I apologize for not remembering so here are two posts to make up for it.

“This is an apology letter to the both of us for how long it took me to let things go.”

I love this quote! It describes a time of my sadness. There were many times where I struggled to let go of a dying friendship and to accept that things were never able to go back to the way they were. It took me a long time to accept this fact but after accepting that truth, it is okay that my friendship ended. It was a difficult to accept and move on. But after many months I was able to move on with my head held high. A lot of things went wrong and I am sorry that things ended for the way they did.

There are times where I think of you and wonder if you are okay. But I am okay that we are no longer friends anymore. It taught me a lot of things that I needed to learn like acceptance of others and that you can’t mold someone into someone that they are not.

It was for the best. I realized that friendship happened for a reason and I am forever grateful for that friendship. If it wasn’t for that friendship I wouldn’t have met my boyfriend and I adore him to pieces. ❤

One Thing – I Care

Before my boyfriend and I went to work I went over to my boyfriend’s for tea and breakfast. He made us pancakes whilst I sliced the strawberries.

It was a joyous breakfast. Since I left after him I made the bed and wrote him a note like I always do. Although this time I forgot to bring my paper so I had to ask his little sister for paper. Thankfully she had one.

I left my favourite pen (but I have multiples) there from whenever…

I always place his letter on his pillow. I’m so cute. 🙂 ❤

Lending A Helping Hand

I would love to do a quick tidying of my boyfriend’s room, it’s not atrocious but it just needs a little more tender, love and care. He’s been working long days so he doesn’t have a lot of energy to tidy it. I don’t live there so I don’t know where they keep their cleaning supplies.

But I tried my best. I made the bed, put our dishes in the sink and I dusted off his table. Alas I wasn’t certain if the table is water resistant so I didn’t put a lot of water on a Kleenex. Obviously it didn’t thoroughly clean it but the thought was there.

As usual I left him a note on his pillow. I tried some Origami but failed, again, the thought was there.

Today, I will try my best to lend a helping hand. I won’t just lend a hand for someone to return a favour. For that is business. You should lend a hand because it’s in your heart to do so. This person would be grateful for your action, no matter how big or how small your genuine acts are.

Count Your Blessings

I had breakfast at my boyfriend’s and shortly afterwards he had to depart for work. I got to hang out with his sister for a bit. That was fun we listened to music and talked. Then she went to the mall with her friends and that she will be back later.

I was going to clean up but I didn’t know where they kept their supplies so I just started writing my boyfriend a letter and worked on a Sudoku puzzle over a cup of Earl Grey Vanilla tea.

His ma came in from work and we sat talked briefly over a snack. Then I went back to my activities because she had an errand to run. Then my boyfriend’s sister’s boyfriend came over so we talked until my boyfriend’s ma came back. We had many laughs.

My boyfriend’s ma and I had many healthy snacks – banana, corn on the cob, peach and tea and we had a snack that wasn’t as healthy which was a Nutella danish.

Before I left she showed me a few pictures of my boyfriend when he was a child. Those were pictures were adorable. 🙂

After I finished writing my boyfriend a letter I paced it on his pillow in his made bed, courtesy of moi! 🙂 ❤

Today, I will count my blessings, not my problems.
