Meditate – Eckhart Tolle

Eckhart Tolle is a spiritual teacher, and encourages us to make time to meditate. He believes that it would help heal and strengthen the mind and body.

There are many proven benefits from meditation. The purpose of meditation is to restore yourself by bringing calm and allowing yourself to mindful. It increases your attention span, helps you be more patient and improves your sleep.

If you wish to seek the benefits of meditation, I would suggest starting really small, especially if you never practiced before. I would suggest meditating five minutes a day, for a week, and then perhaps do 10 minutes the following week. You can keep increasing your intervals, if you like, or just stick to what is comfortable.

For a habit to stick, it is important to start small, and build up your confidence.

When You Are Ready…

“The things that your heart deserves
will not arrive quickly
but they will
when you are ready.”

This is our weekly quote. It is to teaches us patience, that although we may want everything, we must learn to be patient.

Things take time, and that’s okay. We just got with the flow of the universe. Everything will come to us when we are ready. Only the universe knows, so we must trust the universe and follow the journey it has for us.

Stillness – Eckhart Tolle

“When you wash your hands, when you make a cup of coffee, when you’re waiting for the elevator – instead of indulging in thinking, these are all opportunities for being there as a still, alert presence.”

This is something I am working on. I enjoy mindful but sometimes it can be difficult but I’m not letting any difficulties stand in the way.

I thought I am a very patient person but today pushed my buttons. Long story short, I had to wait for my boyfriend for two hours. I called and messaged him several of times. Then I literally was walking around in circles.

Anyway things are good. And everyone was okay.

Today, I learned to practice more patience. I just have to work on it better.

Patience Is A Virtue

All good things comes to those who wait.

It sometimes takes me awhile to catch my buses to venture off to my friend’s house but after my journey it is totally worth it!

Today we had to wait 40 minutes for pizza but we watched our show whilst we waited. It was quite scrumptious!! 😀

I had a great day with my friend. 🙂

The longer you have to wait for something the more you will appreciate it when it happens. Keep your head up.
