It was a morning in June, when a woman took her dog for a walk, and she thought her dog came up to her with a stick, but it turns out to something much worst. The story is about how four close friends from boarding school, who thought were inseparable, play a game — The Lying Game. The rules are simple, lie, and never tell the truth to fellow students, and teachers. Although never lie to each other. Unfortunately the girls get expelled in their final year of boarding school. Which is how the girls start separating and going on their own journeys. Until one morning, Kate messages them with a three word text, “I need you”. This text message brings all four girls together. What the girls are about to find out is that their Lying Game has consequences.
I love reading Ruth Ware books, I think she is an amazing author. She writes thrillers. The first book I read of hers was The Turn of the Key, which is also amazing. What I like about her is she begins her books slowly, and providing a lot of details in the beginning of the book. She then picks up the pace, with thrilling details, so things start to get scary pretty fast. I really enjoyed this book a lot. I would recommend this if you like reading thrillers.

So I switched this The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, because I found out other people are waiting for this book, so I have to return it to the library faster than The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I have read great reviews about this book. I am really fascinated and intrigued to read this book. All I know that it is really popular now, because people are able to relate to it to today’s world about being in insolation because of the pandemic lockdowns.
3. What will I be reading next?

I am intrigued to read these stories, and watch the movies. I feel like I am missing out on so much. I can’t wait to find out what happens in this series.

Claire is a combat nurse. When I was 10, I thought I wanted to be a nurse, but the whole Covid pandemic made me eerie, so I decided not to.

In this story her mother was a writer, and I always admired whatever she had written.
6. The Turn of the Key

When I was in middle school, I thought it would be fun to take care of children. In this story, the main character is a nanny.
7. Safe Haven

The main character is a waitress, and I always thought that it would be fun job when I was younger. I have never really been a waitress before, but I have worked a lot in the food industry.
8. The Year of Yes

Shonda Rhimes is a successful TV show creator and writer. I can only hope that my writing is that influential and amazing.

In the book, Sophia is an inspiring artist, and I wish I had those talents to become a good artist.

I think it would be interesting to solve crimes. I watch a lot of crime dramas, and I enjoy solving and trying to figure why they’ve committed these crimes. I find it interesting, and I know that it’s totally different in real life.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to myself this week, so I wasn’t able to finish a lot of books as I was hoping for. But I am going to work very hard to finish a book, or two next week. I was just barely reading 30 minutes a day.

I am so excited to read this one! I have had this book on my To Be Read for about 10 years now. I have been meaning to read this book. I’m going to order the next books in the series when I finish this one. Then I am also going to watch the movies as I finish the books. I love watching the series, or movies after I finish reading the book.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to myself this week, so I wasn’t able to finish a lot of books as I was hoping for. I managed to finish one book, which was a really good book.
What have I finished reading?
This book was suspenseful. It is my first book that I have read by Chris Bohjalian. I can’t wait to read his other stories. This novel tells the tale about how a flight attendant, Cassie finds her in some trouble. She just traveled to Dubai as one of her travels for work. She wakes up in the wrong hotel room, where she finds out she is laying next to some guy. She then looks at him, and realizes that he is dead. She is far way from home, and doesn’t know what she do.
I can’t wait to start watching the TV show soon.

I first picked up this book up when I wanted to watch this series. I have this thing, that I like reading the books before I watch the shows, or movies.

I love reading Ruth Ware, she writes suspenseful, and thriller novels. I haven’t read one of her books in awhile. I have been waiting for this book a little while now from the library.

I have heard amazing things about this book. I cannot wait to read it one day. It’s about this girl who basically gets stuck in a time loop and has to relive her Christmas over and over again to find her true love under the mistletoe.
2. Midnight Library

Another book I had heard great things about. It’s about how there’s this library that has an infinite amount of books, some of them are about what would your life be like if you had many different choices in your life. It’s about finding out what makes life living in the first place.
3. One by One

The first (and only book, so far) that I have heard by Ruth Ware was Turn of the Key, and it was amazing! I loved reading that book so much. I am excited to read this book because my Grandma read it, and she told me she really enjoyed it. This is like a Whodunnit meets thriller kind of book. It’s about 12 people who get snowed in a chalet.
4. Guest List

They are calling this book one of the best thrillers of the year. It’s about a wedding where someone ends up dead. People begin to wonder what happened, and why this person had died.
5. Anxious People

When a bank robber failed to rob a bank, he then bursts into an open house, and holds people hostage. The group of strangers realize that they have more in common than they thought.
6. The Return

7. The Devil Wears Prada

I have watched the movie, and thought it was amazing! So I have always wanted to read the book.
8. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder

It’s about how about a murder case that has been closed for a few years now, and a student in her final year picks this as her project, she discovers that people in this town has secrets.
9. Confessions on the 7:45

It’s about how these two strangers, Selena and Martha end up having a conversation on the train because they are sitting next to each other. Martha talks about how she believes that her husband is having an affair. Which makes Selena confess to Martha that her husband is sleeping with the nanny. Eventually the train stops at their destinations. They assume that they wouldn’t see each other again.
But days later, Selena’s nanny goes missing, and she now becomes a part of the disappearance of her nanny. This results in her marriage problems arising. So, who exactly is this Martha person?
10. The Guilty Mother

This book is about a woman who deals with the death of a young infant from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and then a few weeks later her other twin daughter dies.
This mother is facing murder charges for her twin daughters. But did she really do? If she didn’t do it then what really happened to her children?

All of the Harry Potter books
I really wish I had my collection with these covers, but that’s okay.
I would love re-reading them from time to time. I feel like they become more magical every time I re-read them.
2. Eat Pray Love
I loved the book, and the movie. I enjoy re-living the first time I experienced this book and movie.
3. The BFG
My boyfriend and I read this book together a few years ago. We thought it was really good.
4. To Kill A Mockingbird
I fell in love with this book when I read it in the tenth grade.
5. Charlotte’s Web
I first read this book in grade seven, I thought it was a touching and a heartfelt book. I can’t wait to re-read it. It’s a beautiful story about friendship.
6. The Year of Yes
I enjoyed this book, I thought it was a smart and funny book. It inspires me to be a better person.
7. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
I remember these books in high school, after watching the movies, years prior. I loved these stories so much.
8. Gone Girl
This book was a lot of fun to read. I wish I had read the book, before I saw the movie. It was still a good book. I probably wouldn’t read it again, or at least not for awhile. But I wish I was able not to know the ending, so I can read it without knowing what was going to happen.
9. Turn of the Key
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a thriller, so I wouldn’t be reading this since I already know the mystery. But I wish I can travel back in time, to be able to read it all over again. This book wanted me to read other Ruth Ware’s books. I enjoyed her writing.
10. The Couple Next Door
I borrowed this book from my Grandma, and it was a really good book. I wish I was able to go back in time to write the book for the first time, and not be able to see that twist happen. It was well done.

The One: A book with an ending that left you speechless The Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. I don’t want to say anything to spoil it, but just whoa! I loved the movie, too.
Cardigan: A book that makes you feel happy and sad all at once Pretty much anything Nicholas Sparks. I love his books and movies. I remember being very obsessed with his work in high school. The first movie I had seen of his was A Walk to Remember, and the first book I read of his was The Longest Ride.
The Last Great American Dynasty: A book with a fascinating and extremely well-told story The Harry Potter series. I loved it, it was extremely well thought out, and magical.
Exile: A book you wish you hadn’t read Hm… I’m drawing a blank with this one, because I can’t think of a book I didn’t wish I had read. Maybe a school text book of a subject I didn’t have an interest for.
My Tears Ricochet: A book that made you cry uncontrollably When I was in middle school, the book that made me cry uncontrollably was, and still does is Charlotte’s Web. And now when I was older, I would say Go Ask Alice. It was written anonymously as journal entries about a girl goes to a party and how she got addicted to LSD. It’s really sad, but I read it because it was my friend’s favourite book.
Mirror Ball: A book that feels like it was written just for you I feel like the book, Year of Yes was written for me. I’m a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan. And the book is about encouraging us to be more confident with yourself. It seemed like the perfect book for me to remind me to be more confident with myself.
Seven: A childhood book that makes you feel nostalgic Matilda and the Little House on the Prairies series. When my sister and I were young, our Dad took us to the video store, and we always picked out Matilda and we watched it over and over again. I finally read that book a few years ago, and it was absolutely amazing. My mom and I used to read to Little House on the Prairies when I was in grade school. That was a lot of fun. Although her and I never finished it, because life happened and we got too busy to keep on reading them. So I’m going to read them on my own. My mom used to read these books when she was growing up, too.
August: A book that reminds you of summer Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. I saw this movie for the first time with my sister and her two closest friends at the time. It was a great film. It wasn’t until years later that I read the books. I adored the books so much. It’s about four best friends who are best friends throughout their whole lives, and have never spent an entire summer apart until they were in high school. They went shopping at this thrift shop, and came across these pair of jeans. Despite their different body types, Bridget being taller than her friends, the pair of pants magically fits all of the girls. They decide to wear the pair of jeans throughout the summer, and mail them to each other, documenting the special moments that had happened to them.
This is me Trying: A book that deals with loneliness and sadness The first book that came to came to mind was In Search of April Raintree. It’s about two sisters whose parents are alcoholics and they end up getting put into foster care. Although the sisters get separated and one gets put in a better foster care and the other sister doesn’t have much of a better life than when she was when she was with her parents. It always makes me sad.
Invisible String: A book that came into your life at the exact right time You are a Badass by Jen Sincero. I absolutely loved reading this book. At the time I was having a challenging time with myself. I kept on doubting myself and selling myself short on things. But after reading it I appreciated and loved myself more.
Mad Woman: A book with a female character you adore Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. I admire everything about her. She is an extremely strong willed kind of girl.
Epiphany: A book that is haunting The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware, read this book really fast since it was so good. It started off a bit slow, but near the middle, it gave me goose pimples. It was a really good book. I would recommend this book who is looking for a good scare.
Betty: A book that fills you with yearning Ron and Hermione. I absolutely love them! I loved Ron’s lack of passion for school and studying and how it is oversets Hermione’s passion for school. To me, they have a lot of opposites, and I guess that is something I used to look for in a guy, too.
Peace: A book character you’d die for because you love them so much! Carmen from The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. I love her character and how much growth she goes through throughout the series. I can relate to her because she was the writer of her group of friends, and her parents get divorced. And I was able to relate to what she goes through.
Hoax: A book that you thought you were going to love but didn’t I can’t seem to think of a book that I haven’t liked. I guess I have a knack of picking out good books.
