Day 75

This lesson is from Tuesday March 16th.

I recommend that everyone spends some time in nature. Getting fresh air, and letting the sun embrace you is so good for our health. The sun gives us a lot of vitamins that helps improve our immune system. It also helps lift our spirits, and helps us feel better. I love spending time outside. I am so happy that warmer weather is almost here. I enjoy reading on our front porch with a cup of tea. I feel like it calms me down, and helps me feel better.

The best part is if you are busy, and don’t have a lot of spare time, that’s okay, because you don’t need to spend a lot of time outside in order to gain all of the benefits. In fact, spending too much in the sun, especially without sunscreen, can increase your risk of developing skin cancer. So if you plan on spending a lot of time outside, I suggest that you wear a hat, and that you continue to reapply sunscreen that way you are protected from the sun rays.

Today, I will ensure that I spend some time outside to allow the sun to give me many healthy vitamins. Spending a bit of time outside will help me feel better and healthy.

Day 33

Right now, where I live, it is our winter time, and I am not a fan of the snow, and the icy sidewalks that comes with the freezing temperatures. Although I enjoy being cozy in my house because I can wear my cozy socks, and big sweaters, and be under my fluffy blankets. I also like lighting my candles, too.

I really miss seeing and feeling the sun shining on me. I miss the warmth I would feel on my skin. Sometimes I feel sad, when I can’t see or feel the sun. There are some hours throughout the day, where I can see the sun, which makes me happy. I normally like to drink a lot of orange juice as a replacement, since orange juice has a lot of Vitamin C.

Today, I will do or eat something healthy as a replacement from something I am currently deprived off. Especially something that has a lot of vitamins in it, so I can feel replenished. Eating oranges, and drinking orange juice will help me feel better since I am not getting much vitamins from the sun right now.

Change of Scenery

Today, I read and wrote in my journal in outside in a nearby hiking trail. It was quite peaceful, and thankfully wasn’t too hot. I made myself an iced tea (hot tea served over ice) to quench my thirst and keep me hydrated, and I had packed my book, and my journal, and began my walk. It was nice to get some exercise outside.

I really enjoyed myself. I am definitely going to do this again. It made me think more deeply since I was surrounded by nature and in the sun.

Here Comes the Sun -the Beatles

This song always makes me happy. I love The Beatles, my mama would always be playing them growing up. This song reminds me of the fun we used to have when I was a kid.

It’s quite popular in TV shows and movies, as well.

It reminds us that even during the bad times, the sun will rise again.

“Here comes the sun,
And I say, it’s alright.”

-The Beatles, Here Comes the Sun

Day Fifteen

Hi again! We should feel grateful for air conditioning. The weather is starting to sizzle, I am glad to stay cool.

I am so glad to have it in my place. Air conditioning is an amazing invention. Today, let’s feel gratitude for anything that keeps you cool during the hot weather.

Day Fourteen

I don’t know about y’all but today was a beautiful day. It was a nice temperature and lots of sun, without a cloud in the sky. I love those kind of days.

I went out and did an hour worth of walking in the sun. I am so grateful for sunshine. It really does make me happy. It really fuels my body and soul.

Never forget to go outside. It really soothes the soul.

Today, I am grateful for the sun and how happy it makes me feel. What type of weather are you grateful for?
