The rules are simple, you get rid of things from your life, either by selling them, throwing them away, or donating them. On the first day, you remove one item, and then on the second day, you remove two items, you keep on playing until it’s the end of the month, or whenever you run out of things to remove from your life. It is okay if you can’t make it until the end of the month. Personally, I would rather see items get donated, or sold to someone else. If you must throw something away, I hope it’s because it isn’t fixable. Even if you have removed three items from your life, you should still be proud of that, because it is three more things you removed before the challenge. But if you are able to complete this challenge, you would have gotten rid of almost 500 items! That’s a lot of stuff.

This is from March the 19th.
This was given to me as part of a Christmas present last year. It’s a gift card holder, but I don’t really have any purpose for this. These are old tea samples that I have bought a little while ago. All of these teas were delicious. These pajamas pants were given to me by my Grandma, but I just had too many pajamas at the time to really appreciate these. I am going to send this back to my Grandma, and see if she can find someone to appreciate these more than I did.

I feel more than happy to end Tea Tuesdays, mostly because I have showcased all of my mugs, and my favourite teas. I feel content writing about my last post about my Grandpa’s favourite tea. It was a nice tribute, and happy ending for me. My Grandpa was the one who introduced to me, and made me love it so much. So I am happy that my last post was about him.
Many of you may not know this, but growing up my Grandpa used to make everyone Orange Pekoe tea for all that would visit him. It was always delicious. In fact that was what has made me love tea.
I brought out my spring and summer mugs. I finally put away my winter and Christmas mugs.
I make my Orange Pekoe tea the way my Grandpa would make it for us.

Here are my items…
These are the other seven tins of tea I no longer need or use. So I’m just going to give them to my Grandma, and she can decide what to do with it next.

And I hope I can finish this project, despite the fact that I already gotten rid of 192 items last year, by removing one thing a day for 192 days.

These are five items…
I have yet another tea tin, that is empty. It held my peach matcha tea, but I prefer to have my matcha tea in a bag, I find that easier. So it would be silly for me to put anything in there that isn’t matcha tea in the tin. So it is time to get rid of this item.
I have two small tins of tea from samples of various tea kits. I don’t feel the need to keep these, so I’m going to ask my Grandmother, or my mom if either one of them will be interested in having these.
Next, I have my terrible attempt of painting an ocean for my boyfriend’s birthday present. I have no desire of keeping it, and trying to make it into something else.
Lastly, I used to keep my spare change in 2L pop bottles (one for nickels, dimes, quarters, and one for loonies and toonies). But since my boyfriend and I aren’t using that much cash, because a lot of places haves stopped accepting it, we are just using one tea tin to store all of our change. A side note is that my boyfriend and I no longer drink that much soda as we often used to. I feel really healthy and happy about that. We mostly just drink water, tea, and lattes, and the occasional cup of coffee. We make sure we have a cup of green tea every day.

Here are my four items… I have deciding to sort through my tea ware, and teas, and their tins first, since that would be the easiest for me. I have bought this sample kit, awhile ago, so I have decided to part with these small jars. I am going to offer these to my Mom and see if she wants to keep these for her spices, or for whatever else she thinks of keeping these for. And if she doesn’t want any of these, then she can give them to her mom. Although they do need a good cleaning.
Just catching up with all of my posts… This is from Wednesday.

I am slowly starting to organize my tea ware, and my other tea stuff. I have a lot of tea that I am trying to consume. I have a lot of tins, that I am going either going to recycle, or give them to my sister, for my niece. Perhaps she can keep her pencil crayons, and crayons, and paint brushes in them. Well, when she is older, she is only two years old.
Here am my three things… these things had tea samples in them. I think I am going to ask to my mom if she wants them for her spice cabinets. Well, after I clean them, of course.
This is one of my favourite Christmas lattes. I like to save some so I can have throughout the year. It’s so creamy and rich. I love it so much. I have so many mugs, that I have to rotate them throughout the seasons, and soon it’s almost time to put away my Christmas and Winter mugs and bring out my spring and summer mugs! I thought I would enjoy it in my cozy sweater mug.
This is an herbal tea. I enjoy it so much, I wish I could order it all year round.
Despite posting late, I am in the process of catching up with everything. If you are interested in playing this game, or just wish to watch it all unfold, that’s okay, too. Do whatever feels comfortable. The rules are simple, you get rid of things, either by selling them, throwing them away, or donating them. My item is a tea tin, that I used to store my Maple Chai in. But I don’t really go out of my way to buy any more this. I have used some of these to store my paint brushes. I have decided to give this to my mom, so she can store her pens, pencils and other writing utensils.
