Perhaps at 12:30 EST, which works out in every time zone, we can have a live meditation that temporary shuts down the world for 20-30 minutes a day. During the meditation pause it will promote self love, and clarity as well as other positive skills. This ceremony will be allow us to be in unity with one another.

I am sort of scared of heights, but a way that will help me overcome the fear by swinging over the edge of the world in Ecuador.
  4. Describe what is a perfect day for you?
It would be me getting up early practicing some yoga, followed by mediation. Perhaps go for a run with my boyfriend. It will always be a nice day out. Then come home, tidy up a bit, then shower. Have a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Then I would journal and blog while sipping a latte. After that I would have lunch, followed a readathon. My boyfriend and I would make dinner. We could watch our show together. Then we would read our book together and go to bed afterwards.
  5. What is one goal you would like to achieve in life?
I want to be happy. I want to write a book.
  6. Which is your favourite book that you’ve read?
This one is challenging because I have read so many books. I have enjoyed all of the Harry Potter books. I enjoy the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series, too. In conclusion I love that are about friendships and how the friends grow and evolve together.

WWW Wednesdays – September 16th, 2020

In this post I will be talking about books! Reading books is one of my favourite past times. It is such a relaxing and peaceful habit.

This post it answers the following questions,

  1. What have I finished reading?
  2. What am I currently reading?
  3. What will I read next?
  1. What have I finished reading?

I really enjoyed this book. To Kill A Mockingbird is such an amazing book. I would recommend it, although in my opinion To Kill A Mockingbird is the better one of the two, but this book is still amazing.

2. What am I currently reading?

This book has always been one of my favourites. It is so inspiring to me. I have seen the movie countless times, and I am going to reread this, because I can’t travel, nor do I feel comfortable at the moment to travel somewhere else. Even if it is still in my country, like I was planning. It’s like I’m travelling somewhere new even though I am not physically travelling anywhere. I like that effect in books. It’s also one of the books I recommend to others.

3. What will I read next?

Because of Tuesday’s Top Ten of blue covered books I owe, I thought now would be the perfect time to read this book. It will give me some added motivation and inspiration. I loved the book so much, so reading everyone’s stories will make me happy.

Through the Pages

I was dusting off my bookshelf and I was inspired by how much of a variety of books I have, so I thought of several cool ideas for this post.

I wanted to see if I can spell out my name with the starting letters of the books, my name is Julianne. Unfortunately I don’t have any books that start with the letter J, so I improvised with Dear John. It is the closest thing I could find.

The books I picked are…

J for Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
U for Unfu*ck Yourself by Gary John Bishop
L for Lethal White by Robert Galbraith
I for I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
A for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Other Tales by Lewis Carroll
N for Never Too Late by Gail Vaz-Oxlade
N for The Now Effect by Elisha Goldstein, PhD
E for East Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

A book that takes place in my country. I live in Canada, so I picked Anne of Green Gables written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This book takes place in Prince Edward Island, which is somewhere I would love to travel to. My boyfriend and I were planning on going there this summer, but the whole Covid-19 pandemic sort of ruined our plans, although we’ll definitely rearrange our plans so we can visit there. I cannot wait!

Places I would to travel to… Denmark.
Well I would like to travel to other places, but I was trying to use as many books as I can. Denmark is known to be one of the happiest countries in the world, so I am so excited to travel there. I found this book quite helpful to feel cozy and enjoy the simple things in life.

The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well

Places I have traveled to… New York and North Carolina. The Fantastic Beasts takes place in New York, whereas Safe Haven takes place in North Carolina.

A book where I can relate to one of the characters the most. I would say I am like Hermione Granger. I love her, I even dressed up as her for Halloween a couple of times. I can relate to her since we are both book smart people, and we love reading.

A book that is about school or takes place at a school.

A book that turned into a movie. I picked Matilda, because I must have watched the movie a million of times growing up. My Dad would take my sister and myself to the video store, and this was our choice all the time.

A book with a number. I picked 24/6 by Tiffany Shlain. I haven’t read it yet, but what interested me in buying this book was that it encourages us to unplug at least one day a week. That is something I would like to do.

A book about poetry. These are actually my two favourite poetry books. Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein was something that was always read to me at school. The Sun and her Flowers is something I have found not too long ago, I really enjoyed it.

A book about a TV show, I picked Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore in Gilmore Girls. She was one of my favourite characters, and she even inspired me to go to Business school.

A book about my future career. I know that I want to obtain a degree in accounting, but I haven’t actually decided which career to pursue with it. There’s a lot I can do with an accounting degree. I know that I will figure it out in time, so I’m not worried. I also haven’t had experience in every aspect of accounting in my studies yet. My uncle is an accountant, too so he is also recommends that I pursue my Masters in Business Administration.

A book from a different time period. I have picked Little House in the Big Woods from The Little House in the Prairies series written by Laura Ingalls Wilder. This book is special to me since my mama and I used to read this all the time.

A book about my favourite hobby, which is cooking. One of my specialties is cooking soups, chicken noodle soup is my go to soup. I actually learned to make it by tasting it, and figuring what to add next. I am quite proud of myself.

This or That

My sister bought me this journal for Christmas. In the notebook it asks me all of these different questions about me and my life. I thought this was a fun way of sharing more fun tidbits about me. I would be sharing more of my answers, at a later date.

If you would like me to answer a few questions, list it in the comments below.

The objective is to pick one or the either choice. My picks are the one in bold. I would love to know your picks. Feel free to comment.

Day Five

Today is about thankful for a special skill or talent that you have, but not a lot of people have. Or just any skill that you are happy to have.

It can be anything from the ability to read, to speak another language or to cook great food.

Whatever the skill you think about, write about why you are thankful, write or think about who taught you this skill. Say thank you out aloud, or call this person up, expressing your thankfulness.

For me, that skill that I’m most happy to have is reading. It has the ability to calm me down, allow me to “travel” into another world. Especially I have to put my plans on hold because because of the coronavirus lockdown. This time will give me more time to save up more money. The person who made me fall in love with books is my sister. She is three years older so she knew how to read and always read us stories before we went to bed. She always had the best books.
